About Us
Our project “Comprehensive Education and Empower Rural and Vulnerable Girl Children” targets 50 remote village girls facing dropout rates due to forest distances and diseases like Monkey Fever. Our goal is to enroll these girls in government schools, providing comprehensive care and education, influencing policy for better government responsibility, and building a movement for their rights.
Education empowers girls, transforming lives and communities
The Founder
Sagara Education and Development Society (SEDS) and NAMMANE (Rural Girl Children Home) were established by Mr. Santhosh in 2013 with a deep-rooted commitment to uplift the underprivileged. His journey began with a decade of dedicated service to disadvantaged children in Bengaluru and Chennai, followed by 16 years of active engagement with youth groups, particularly in rural areas. With international training and memberships in prominent organizations like FAO and MiJARC, Mr. Santhosh brings a wealth of experience to his role.
Drawing from his extensive background in child care and protection, including a decade with the national NGO ARUN -RAINBOW Homes Program, Mr. Santhosh leads SEDS with a hands-on approach. His mantra, “Experience makes a man perfect,” drives him to tirelessly pursue his goal of touching the lives of millions of deprived children, youth, women, and elderly in our society.
